Royal Thai Embassy in Abu Dhabi participated in Asian Food Fair 2011

            Thai Embassy in the UAE participated in Asian Food Fair 2011 organized by Asian Ladies’ Association of Abu Dhabi under the leadership of spouses of Asian and Australian Ambassadors to the UAE. The event witnessed participation from 14 countries which took place on Saturday, 5th March 2011 at the Indonesian Embassy in Abu Dhabi.

            Asian Food Fair 2011 was held for the second consecutive year following a successful outcome from previous year. Its main purposes were to promote Asian cultural identities through food and performances as well as to strengthen Asian and ASEAN communities within the UAE.     

The Thai outlet was decorated in Thai style and offered famous authentic Thai food and delicacy including Pad Thai, Tom Yum Koong, Som Tum, and mixed fruits and beans dessert , made from the residence of the Ambassador of Thailand. The legendary Thai cuisine had attracted a large crowd resulting in all of the food being ordered within the first two hours of the event. Besides, the Embassy had disseminated brochures about Thailand and tourism in Thailand to the visitors that were interested. In addition, beautiful Thai dances were performed on the stage with admiration.
